She retired from The Bank of Fayette County. She was born June 25, 1935 in Memphis, daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Jones and Zella Mae Wooley and lived in Whitehaven and Memphis prior to moving to Grand Junction in 1973. Vickie loved sewing, crocheting doilies and traveling. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Grand Junction Church of Christ and Ashland, MS Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Debby Burnett (Clayton) and a son, Jack Perkins, all of Grand Junction; 3 grandchildren, Tabitha Switzer (Noah), Amanda Ervin (Charles) and Jeremy Burnett (Rachel); and five great grandchildren, Shophie and Jaden Switzer, Andrew, Anne and Addie Burnett.
