COLUMBUS — Michael Curtis, 57, formerly of Warren and Youngstown, died at home Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.

Born Jan. 31, 1964, in Luverne, Ala., he was the son of the late John Curtis Jr. and Annie R. Parks Curtis. He graduated from The Rayen School.

He leaves his mother, Annie R. and stepfather, Murray Williams; brothers, Terell Wood of Luverne, Ala., and Steve People of Atlanta, Ga.; and sisters, Andrea (Michael) Willis of Atlanta, Ga., and Tina Folmar of Troy, Ala.

He was preceded by his father; brother, John Jeffery Curtis; and grandparents, John and Lucressi Compton Curtis and Joe Nathan and Lessie Williamson Parks.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Restoration Christian Fellowship Church, where masks and social distancing are observed. Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery.
