The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00noon on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in York, SC. The funeral service will start at 12:00noon with the burial following at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia, NC at 3:00pm.
Brenda was born on July 15, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Kelly Burrell and Faye Bryson Burrell. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in York, SC and was retired from Champion Laboratories.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Burl Cliff Wilson, son, Bo Carpenter and his wife, Jennifer of York, SC, sister, Linda Crawford of Kings Mountain, NC, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Carpenter.
