Joseph retired from Winn-Dixie after 37 years as an auditor. In retirement, he volunteered for years with the local food pantry and the Kiwanis Club of Angier, being recognized as Kiwanian of the year.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Virginia Tudor Parker. Throughout their years together, Joseph and Virginia enjoyed the companionship of numerous much-loved dogs.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 10:00 am at Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal welfare charity of your choice.
