Connie Chambers passed away March 1, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Chattanooga Tennessee on November 17, 1950. She was a resident of Cleveland Tennessee since 1987. She worked for several different employers but was best known for her service in the United States Army, where she achieved the rank of Master Sargent and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Thelma Holt and by her son, James Tooter Cheatham.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, John and Terri Ann Loach, of Cleveland Tennessee; a brother, Donnie Monday of Chattanooga Tennessee; a grandson, Brandon Loach of Cleveland Tennessee and great grand daughter, Haven Grace Loach of Cleveland Tennessee; niece, Adrian Holt and nephew, Johnny Holt of Cleveland Tennessee.

There will be grave side service only at National Cemetery in Chattanooga Tennessee, with military honors, 12:30 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2022, with Reverend Homer Roberts officiating.

There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home .
