Harold "Joe" Henry, 80, of Silex, MO, passed away on February 6, 2022. He was born on April 9, 1941 in Dorothy, WV to Charley Howard and Maggie Mae(Stover) Henry. Joe attended the local schools, with his brother, John. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country. Joe and Jo Anna (Ellingwood) were united in marriage on May 3, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union were born four children, Toni, Charles, John and Jeff. Joe was a long time employee of General Motors and proudly served as Chairman of Local No.2250 for eight years. He loved to fish in his bass boat, grow abundant vegetables in his garden and golf. Joe took excellent care of his grass and loved a summer day spent taking care of his property. Joe was a true patriarch of the family and took his duties seriously. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who loved him.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Anna and his parents and his brother, John Henry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
