Barbara Sue Hughes was born on July 4, 1936 in Nacogdoches, TX to Olfin E. and Lizzie (Burnett) McCuistion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wylie "Bo" Hughes; brothers, Perry McCuistion, Edward McCuistion and Donald McCuistion; sister, Esteline Bales; sons, Jerry Gambol and Jimmy Gambol; daughter, Debbie Hallows; grandchild, Rusten Cline and great grandchild, Hayden Hale.

Barbara married the love of her life, Wylie "Bo" Hughes on May 19th, 1970 in Altus, OK. They later moved to the Valliant area in 1973 and is where they built their loving home. Barbara was a loving and caring woman. She loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Valliant, OK for many years.

She loved to sit outside on the front porch, watching the hummingbirds on the feeder that she asked her family to put up for her. Barbara also loved country music; one of her favorite things to do on a Saturday night was to turn on RFD TV and listen to them play the old reruns of all her favorites. Most of all, Barbara loved her family and they were her greatest blessing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Donna Crain and husband Shannon of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Mandy Hale and husband Gaylen of Ringold, OK, Carri Cline of Valliant, OK, Dustin Cline and wife Bailie of Ringold, OK, Kacey Hallows of Farris, OK, Cord Gambol of Rattan, OK, Chase Gambol and wife Brooke of Broken Bow, OK, Kyle Gambol of Oklahoma City, OK; great grandchildren, Maggi Smith, Jayde Hale, Clyne Blankenship, Blaze Neal, Shayni Neal, Jordan Nolin, Kylie Cline, Lyndi Cline, Chelsi Whitaker and husband Dewey; four great great grandchildren and sister, Lillian Briseno; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
