Lucille Josephine Bevins, age 81 of Broken Arrow, OK died Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Prairie House. Lucille was born July 14, 1940 in Fairfax, OK the daughter of Royce Daniel and Edna Jeanette (Bailey) Reamy. She was raised in the Blackburn, OK area, graduating from Blackburn High School in 1958. Lucille moved to Tulsa and began attending Draughon's School of Business in June 1958 (graduating in 1959). In November 1958, Lucille was appointed Deputy Municipal Court Clerk in Tulsa.
Lucille made her home in Tulsa where she raised her family for several years prior to moving to Cleveland in the mid 1970's. In 1991, she returned to the Tulsa and Sand Springs area until moving to Wylie, Texas in 2012. Broken Arrow has been home since late 2021.
Lucille worked for the state of Oklahoma as an Administrative Assistant for 20 years prior to retirement. Lucille enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing, doing arts and crafts, and was also an avid reader. Spending time with friends and family was always her first priority. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
