It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert Ramsey on February 7th, 2022. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Red Bluff. He was 81.

Bob was born on December 28 th , 1940 to Jack Ramsey and Barbara Burgess Ramsey. He grew up in Red Bluff and graduated from Red Bluff High School in 1958. After graduating high school, he joined the Navy serving 4 years mainly in Southeast Asia. It was while serving in the Navy that he learned what would become his trade, electrical engineering.

Upon being discharged, he was hired by PG&E construction where he worked for several years in Northern CA then he was able to get on with the Stockton, CA division. He left PG&E in the early 80's to start his own electrical business in Lodi, CA before deciding to come back to Red Bluff, where he continued to work for himself until his retirement.

Bob enjoyed golfing and fishing, especially in Mineral, where he spent many summers at his family's cabin. He is survived by his wife Christine, stepsons John, Jim and Jeff Thomas of Red Bluff, sister Donna Klepper, nephew Ray Klepper, niece Noele Martin of Chico and cousins Jack and Brad Burgess and Patricia Hess of Red Bluff.

Robert will be missed dearly by his family and all those who knew him. At this time, the family will not be holding a funeral or memorial service but all condolences and prayers are greatly appreciated.
