Dennis "Denny" Dewayne Green was born on September 26, 1952 to Beulah and Osceola Green in South Bend, Indiana.
Denny attended South Bend School Corporation; he graduated from Adams High School In 1970. After high school, he joined the Navy. In 1983, he received his Associates Degree for Electronic Communication from Indiana Vocational Technical College.
Denny was many things; a truck driver, a gardener, a carpenter, basically a jack of all trades. He enjoyed listening to and playing music. Especially Jazz. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Denny departed his life on February 20, 2022. Preceding him in death are his parents, Beulah and Osceola, sister Patricia (Donald) Walbae, Vernetta (George) Smith, Jacqueline (Stanley) Thompson, brothers Thomas Green and Richard (Connie) Green.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters, Rhea Green of Indianapolis and Denisha Barbary-Green of Chicago, two grandsons, Jaylen Green-Richardson and Ayrn Green-Gaddie both of Indianapolis, In. Also surviving is a sister, Karen Green of South Bend, two brothers, Bernard "Birdie" Green and Keith Green also of South Bend, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
