Art was a United States Airforce veteran and was dedicated to, and took great joy in, his service with the Disabled American Veterans Goshen Memorial Chapter 15, the Nappanee American Legion Post 154, and the Nappanee VFW Post 6638. He was also a member of the Whiskerville truckers.
Surviving are his four children: Colleen (Barry) Card of Carmel, IN, Glen (Shelly) Miller of Milford, IN, Rex (Kris) Miller of New Carlisle, IN, and Phillip (Sara) Miller of Wakarusa. Arthur is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Charlene Jean Rhodes, who he married on January 26, 1960; 3 brothers: Carl, Harold, and Denzil; 2 sisters: Thelma and Dorothy; and his grandson Joshua Miller.
Friends and family may call from 10am-Noon on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel, with funeral services beginning at Noon. A military cavalcade and memorial service with gun-salute will follow at the Nappanee American Legion Post 154.
Memorial contributions in Art's name can be given to Nappanee American Legion Post 154 in memory of Arthur Leroy Miller.
