Walter Earl Dodd, age 84 of Franklin, TN passed away February 26, 2022. He is a native of Williamson County, TN and retired after 35 years with Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Cooperative serving as a lineman.
Preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Fagan and William Bryan Dodd.
Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Hargrove Dodd; daughters, Tamara Kay (Rick) Easterly and Phyllis Ann Dodd; sons, Walter Earl (Brenda) Dodd, Jr. and Bryan Webster (DeAnna) Dodd; brother, Bryan Nelson (Jean) Dodd; sisters, Marion Emogene Dodd and Linda (Buddy) Lipscomb; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Ronnie Johnson and Ed Slayton officiating. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are current and former employees of MTEMC and J.B. Dodd. Burial will be at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
