Melissa Kay Lowe, age 55, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Bay Harbor Assisted Living, Suamico.

Melissa was born on February 23, 1967 in Danville, Illinois. She participated in Special Olympics throughout her childhood and young adult years. She graduated from Riverview School in Manitowoc and worked at Holiday House for several years.

Survivors include Melissa's stepfather, Morrie Ribble; father, Bill Lowe; sisters, Anita (Ribble) Evenson and Amy (Ribble) Hansen; brothers, Moe Ribble and Dean Ribble; and extended family. Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Ribble; and grandmother, Betty Wendt.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Pankow officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Following the memorial service, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Melissa's name which will be used to benefit organization of the donor's choice.
