She was a very active member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and Rolling Along Klub. She always put others before herself. The light of her life was her grandchildren. Hobbies were gardening and reading.
Survivors include: 2 daughters Vella Melissa Reed and Marla Rene Bridges both of Clarksdale, MS. Brother Alton Wayne Lassett of Indianola, MS. 3 sisters Betty Ann Howard and Katie Mae both of Clarksdale, MS and Glenda Joyce Rivers of Vicksburg, MS. 2 grandchildren Misty Nicole Hopper of Cleveland, MS and April Lauren Posey of Philadelphia, MS. 8 great grandchildren Peyton Taylor, Haylee Yarborough, Hanna Yarborough, Hollie Yarborough, Hayden Yarborough, Farrah Hopper, Sayda Posey and Paxton Posey.
Preceded in death by husband David Huel Green, Parents Walter and Vella Bell Walker Lassett, grandchild Billy Thomas Reed, Brothers William Hugh Lassett, James Davis Lasett and Sister Peggy Sue Knight.
