Connie June Craig was born in Verdigris, Oklahoma on April 5, 1938, daughter of Archie Phillips and Ora (Ellis) Phillips. She passed away from this life on February 26, 2022 in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
Connie attended Catoosa Public Schools until the family moved to Alsuma, Oklahoma. Although she always considered Catoosa her home, she finished her education at Union Public Schools, graduating in 1956.
When she was young, she was involved with the Rainbow Girls. She was installed as "Rainbow Worthy Advisor". She worked for Otasco for 25 years and was one of the last employees before she thought it was time to retire. However, she decided to start working at the Cherokee Outpost and ended up working there for 10 more years.
Connie's hobbies included watching Oklahoma City Thunder basketball games, OU Women's basketball, crocheting and she loved to bowl. She was on the Otasco Bowling League for many years.
Connie was a loving and caring mother, sister granny and friend. Her love for her grandchildren were the highlight that brightened her life.
Connie will be truly missed everyday by those who knew and loved her.
