Thomas Ray Adams, age 68, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Adams was born October 16, 1953 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Ray Adams and Margaret Poole Lamb. He was a 1971 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and he was of the Baptist faith. Tommy worked in the coal mines for 46 years until he retired in 2019. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He particularly loved watching his granddaughters in all of their activities.

Mr. Adams is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Neda Poe Adams; daughter, Leann (Steven) Giese; son, Jason (Erin) Adams; four granddaughters, Madison and Abbey Giese, and Elissa and Avery Adams; and a half-brother, Dennis Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Brice Young; half-brother, Robert Aaron; and half-sister, Kathy Westerman.

Visitation for Thomas Ray Adams will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Adams, Steven Giese, Joe Roberts, Clay Simons, Adam Parker, Shawn Adams, Blake Roberts and Brett Roberts.
