Brenda Williams Napier, 82, of Charlotte went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2022. Born August 4, 1939 in Gaston County, NC; she was the daughter of Dewey A. and Mabel Williams.

She married on August 23, 1958 in Pleasant Plains, NC. A member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church, Brenda retired as a Legal Secretary. She was formerly employed with Robert Daniel Potter, Grier & Grier and Parker, Poe, Adams and Bernstein, LLP. She enjoyed volunteering her time with the Dove's Nest, Baptist Missions (WMU) as well as Levine & Dickson Hospice House – Huntersville.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother; Brenda will be missed by many. Survivors include her husband of almost 64 years; two sons; five grandchildren; a brother; a sister; a step-brother; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, G. Bruce Stegall; brothers, Jerry Williams and Ronald Williams; step-brothers, Thomas Stegall and Teddy Stegall.

Funeral Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church, 1601 Toddville Road, Charlotte, NC. Visitation 1 until 2 p.m. at the church. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Wingate University: Reverend Robert J. Napier Scholarship Fund or Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
