David Green Jr. was educated in Passaic, New Jersey public school system. David was a track star. After graduating, David entered the U. S. Air Force in 1971, embarking on a 20-year career that took him across the world. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, he retired and returned to New Jersey, where he was reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Sandy. Together they raised Michele and some years later, David had his first child, Danielle.
David was a loving, kind man who always had a smile for family, friends, and strangers. He helped everyone. Whoever crossed his path, was a friend. David was generous with his time and love for his family. They were his world. David was an eternal optimist. It was never a bad day, especially when listening to his Motown jams and dancing around. He will be missed.
David is pre-deceased by his parents, Sarah Griffin and Lee Ernest Griffin, and sister, Rosetta Griffin.
