She was born on October 10, 1927, in Olney, IL, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Maude (Nesler) Walters.
Mary had received a degree in bookkeeping at the Indiana Business College.
She was a member of the Business Women's Association of Anderson.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Carole "Candy" Chambers (Keith Stuffel) and daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Kirk; 4 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild; 5 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Lane; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation or services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory.
