Emily Alline Jones, age 84, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019. She was born June 5, 1934 in Wythe County, daughter of the late William John and Ella Mae Tate Viars. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clayton "Bob" Jones; daughter, Dixie Taylor; 2 sisters, Polly Doss and Audrey White; three brothers, Walter Viars, William Viars and Jim Viars. Emily was a teacher at Kiddie Care College in the 1980s, the Life Liners Leader at her church in the 1980s, Choir Leader and Womens Ministry Leader.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Max Meadows Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor N.R. Taylor and Pastor Danny Helmondollar officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at West End Cemetery.
