He was a member of Garden Lodge 621, F&AM, Los Angeles, the Masons, and a member of Carpenters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; his mother, Mrs. Medie Risley, El Monte, Calif.; one son, James C., Phoenix; one daughter, Mrs. Bryan Long, Orange, Calif.; two brothers, Norman, Kalmath Falls, Ore., and Lee, El Monte; three sisters, Mrs. Vena Wallis, Independence, Ore., Miss Alice Risley, El Monte, Mrs. Jewell Lassister, Whittier, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School. Interment will be at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the mortuary.
