Stephen "Steve" Don Abbott, 56 of Montgomery area passed away April 22, 2013. He was certainly a "one of a kind" son, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Jennings Lee Abbott and his brother Ricky "Rick" Jaye Abbott.

Survivors include: his mother Donna Abbott of Mt. Carbon; daughter, Erica Abbott-Divita and son-in-law Paul Divita of Teays Valley; son, Shane Abbott of Boomer. He also had 3 grandchildren, Jacob Divita, son of Erica and Paul Divita and Olivia and Natalie Abbott, daughters of Shane Abbott.

He will be missed by his sibings: Terry Abbott and Debbie of Mt. Carbon, Sisters Machele Abbott of Mt. Carbon and Patricia Esterby and Scott of Palm Bay, FL. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many friends.

According to his wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no formal funeral, only a Memorial Service that will be held at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery for family and friends on Saturday. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM with service taking place at 7:30 pm with James Fannin officiating the service. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
