Darrell W. Barritt, 69, formerly of East Moline, died Thursday at Lutheran Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Wendt Brothers Funeral Home, Moline, with the Rev. David William of the Plymouth-Gordon United Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Rehabilitation Center at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.

Mr Barritt was born in Sherrard. He married Luella Erikson in 1945 in Moline, they were divorced. He married Phyllis Bleyaert in 1972 in East Moline. She died in 1976.

He was the chief expeditor at Amatek Corporation in East Moline for 30 years retiring in 1966.

He was a member of the Plymouth-Gordon United Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Christian J. Pettit, Moline, and Mrs. Laurel Starr, Carbon Cliff; a sister Mrs. Vivian Downing, Bettendorf and five grandchildren.
