Bobby Austin Parker, Sr., 74, of Marietta, OK passed away in the UMC Health Hospital in Lubbock, TX on February 26, 2022. His journey in life began in Springer, OK on July 6, 1947, the son of Austin and Sarah (Tate) Parker.

Bobby grew up and attended schools in Springer. He worked as the Chief of Police for Lone Grove, OK in the 70's and afterward he worked for the Carter County Sheriff's Department and Love County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff. In 1986, Bobby moved to California to work as a bookkeeper for Continental Services. While in California, he started Parker Appliance and then in 1996 he brought his business to Marietta.

Bobby was a hardworking man and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed tinkering with things, garage selling, and liked anything country and western from music to belt buckles. Bobby was a member of the Provence Assembly of God in Ardmore. Although he had many interests, he loved spending time with family. Bobby was a very kind and humble man.

Survivors include his wife, Delores Parker of the home; children, Randy Hamilton and wife Christy of Ardmore, OK, Bobby Parker, Jr. and wife Karen of Willis, OK, Dennis Parker of Ardmore, Barbara Vaughn of Lone Grove, Rob Parker and wife Bri of Ardmore, Tonya Ellis and husband Tommy of Ardmore, Denisa Leanne Baker of Ardmore, William Coffey of Davis, OK, Patrick Coffey of Marietta, and Kathleen Carter and husband Jason of Mascoutah, IL; brothers, Troy Stinson and wife Shirley of Ardmore and Jimmy Parker and wife Pam of Ardmore; sisters, Bonnie Patterson of Yukon, OK, and Dixie Bond of Mannsville, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Parker; father, Austin Parker; and sisters, Alene Maddox and Edith Miller.

Services for Bobby will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel of Marietta with Pastor Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tyler Sacco, Austin Parker, Patrick Coffey, Tanner Sacco, Tayden Sacco, and Justin Ellis. Honorary bearers are Patrick Coffey, Jr., Randall Hamilton, Nick Parker, and Dustin Parker.
