Howard B. King (Bob), 61, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away, February 25, 2022. Bob entered the gates of Heaven with his love Barb Cooper by his side after a short battle with cancer. His loved ones welcomed him with open arms. He was born March 15, 1960, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Arthur King and Sharon L. (Farris) King. Bob is preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Sharon King, sister Rose Loser, brother Thomas King, and brother-in-law Bob Cooper. He is survived by: Barb Cooper, the love of his life; whom he met in 2001 and they built a life together for 21 years; her daughter Christina (Justin) granddaughter Molly, sister-in-law's Carolyn McKee (Kevin) Becky Cooper, brother-in-law Gene Cooper (Pat); sisters Barb Martin (Mike), Peggy Wilson (Danny) Debbie Hood, brother-in-law Carl Loser Sr.; Daughters Misty, Buffy, Shelia, several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews' cousins, a dear friend Gary (Katie) Sparky and bullet his beloved dogs. Bob was a truck driver for many years before an injury ended his career. Bob enjoyed fishing, football, wrestling, baseball and time spent with his family. He loved all kinds of music his favorite being Elvis and Ronnie McDowell. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home, on Monday February 28, 2022, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.
