Gary Becker, 77, of Barnegat, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, after an illness.

Gary was born on November 16, 1944, in Clifton, NJ to the late Joseph and Helen Becker. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967, and worked at Verizon, formally New Jersey Bell Telephone, until his retirement in 1992.

Gary married Jean (Sant Ambrogio) in 1969, who survives him along with his son, Gary, and his wife, Carolyn, of Forest Hill, Maryland; his son, Mark, and his wife, Renissa, of Harvard, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Julia, Andrew, Alexandra and Nicholas. He is also survived by four brothers, Alan, and his wife, Bernice; Dennis; his twin brother, Anthony, and his wife Arlene; Bruce, and his wife, Linda; as well as many nieces and nephews. His family was God's greatest gift to him.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 12pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barnegat followed by cemetery service at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
