Mrs. Campbell was born in Jalapa, SC and was the last surviving daughter of fifteen children of the late Jack and Corrie Brock Wix. She was raised in the Pinckneyville area of Union County and attended Kelly Pinckney High School. She and her husband had lived in Spartanburg then later made their home in Jonesville.
Surviving are a daughter, Teena Campbell Kimmons and husband Warren of Spartanburg; two sons, Larry Campbell of Jonesville and Richard A. Campbell and wife Sissy of North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Lauren Campbell, Jeff Campbell and wife Miranda, Candice Anglin and husband John, and Lindsey Steigerwalt and husband Philip. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Kyle Campbell and wife Kylie and Kendall Campbell and a great-great grandson, Rhett Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, conducted by her nephew, Rev. Gerald Eaves.
Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens.
