A memorial service for Bill will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home, in Lincoln with Mr. Ron Otto officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Burial will be in Constant Cemetery in Buffalo Hart, Illinois.
William F. Webster III was born on July 27, 1946 in Lincoln the son of William F. Webster II and Mildred Montgomery Webster.
On May 7, 1994 Bill meet the love his life, Barbara Lercher. They had 27 wonderful years together. Also surviving is his granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; one sister; a special nephew and his wife;, a niece and another newphew:.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Lisa Webster and one sister, Kathy Robinson.
Bill graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 1964. He then served in the United States Navy. He retired from Cilco Company as a substation /line man for 32 years. He was a life long member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 1250, member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Springfield, American Legion Post # 263, Pekin Moose Lodge # 916 and Lincoln Eagles Aery # 2708. His hobbies included cooking, fishing, golf, playing the piano and harmonica, telling stories, detailing his vehicles and yard work, traveling with Barb to Table Rock Lake and being snowbirds in Florida during the winter.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
