Paul Hamilton, 50, of Bear Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was born March 9, 1971, in Frankfort, the son to David (Patty) Hamilton and the late Frances (Ronald) Denton. From early on in life, Paul loved adventures. He could often be found roaming the woods, fishing in the creek, and just enjoying every day with his many cousins and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family. His family was everything to him. He was so very proud of his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He bragged about them every chance he had. He was looking forward to teaching his grandbabies to fish, hunt, and do all the things he loved.

Paul was the type of guy that would help anyone who needed him. Whether it was a trip here or there, fixing a car, or something else, he was there for you. He would stop what he was doing if he could, and just go help. He would even come pick you up in the middle of the night if you needed a ride. He would not have it any other way. That was just the way he was. He loved to have fun and always had a way of making you laugh even when you didn't feel like laughing. He loved getting together with friends and just hanging out, having a good time.

Paul is survived by his long-time companion, Denise Mysliwiec; his sister, Paula Jean (Timothy) Batzer, of Bear Lake, and his stepbrother, Jason Albert Denton, of West Bloomfield; children, Ryan, John, Stephanie, Abigail, Maranda (Luke), Mackenzie, and Isabella (Therron); grandchildren, Kellan, Royce, Amari, and Bodee; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Dezyrae, Macey, and Jace; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Frances and Ronald Denton; his grandparents, Charles and Lillian Marchand and Harry and Violet Hamilton; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home in Kaleva. A celebration of life will be scheduled for this summer and announced by the family at a later date.

The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.
