Leila M. Thomas, 82, of Miccosukee died Wednesday in Tallahassee.
The service will be at 3 pm today at Concord AME Church in Miccosukee with burial at Concord Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Miccosukee, she was a member of Della Walker Chapter No. 43, Order of the Eastern Star, and Pall bearer Lodges No. 1 and No. 6. She was a member of Concord AME Church, where she served on Stewardess Board No 2.
She is survived by a son, James Thomas of Miccosukee; two daughters, Elizabeth Hasty and Josephine Morgan, both of Miccosukee; a sister, Rosa Lee Brown of Fort Pierce; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
