Gary Clark Davis, age 84 of Toronto passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Valley Hospice Care Center West, Steubenville.

He was born December 5, 1937, in Toronto, the son of the late Donald Millard Davis and Viola Amelia (Clark) Davis.

Gary was a Trustee of the New Somerset Christian Church Cemetery Association. He loved to camp, loved dogs, was a jack of all trades, and retired from the Weirton Steel Company as a machinist & truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Mc Afee Davis, whom he married November 30, 1956 and who passed away February 3, 2021; sons Tim Davis and Tom Davis, and grandsons Cale Davis and Bryan Lewis.

Gary is survived by daughters, Kim (Harry) Lewis of Blacklick, OH and Roxanne Mazur of Toronto; grandchildren, Brianna Workman and Brian Workman, Holly (Matt) Rainer; great-grandchildren, Wesley Workman, Eva Riggenbach, Dean Renico, Solara Lewis, Evelyn and Maci Rainer, and daughter-in-law Nancy Davis of Toronto.

Visitation hours for Gary will be 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM Sunday, February 27th at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.

A celebration service of Gary's life will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, February 28th at the funeral home, with Pastor Dixie Hendricks officiating followed by interment at the Island Creek Cemetery.
