Luis Enrique "Louie" Rodriguez, 57, of Dyersburg, died Friday, February 25, 2022 in Union City. Born September 11, 1964 to the late Ernesto Louise and Betty Louise Mattingly Rodriguez.

Louie was a BBQ pit master and enjoyed giving his time and energy for those in need by cooking annually at the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund BBQ. He was a bartender and an avid biker enthusiast.

Memorial visitation for Luis will be announced at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Ozment Rodriguez; two daughters, Specialist Shelby Rogers of Ft. Bliss, TX, Sydnee Rogers of Martin; three sisters, Shirley Doss of Bells, Gloria McDonald (Randy) of Newbern, Trudy Jones of Dyersburg; and his in-laws, Charlie and Donna Ozment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Sanders and Anita Williams; and his brother, Dennis Conner.
