Guy E Trout,73, of Jeannette, died in his home. His wife, Mrs Sarah Stiffey Trout, predeceased him. He was a World War 1 Veteran and a member of the DAV in Jeannette. Surviving are two sons Wilbert and Sheridan, at home, a grandson and two sisters.

Guy E. Trout, 73, 121 North Third St., Jeannette, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday at his home. He had been in failing health for several years. He was born February 10, 1889 in Smoke Run, Pa., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lundy W. Trout. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, in 1942. Surviving are two sons, Wilbert and Sheridan, with whom he made his home; one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Ferguson, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Myrtle Chew, Ohio. Prior to retiring, he was a glass worker for Thatcher Glass Co., Jeannette. The veteran of World War I served in the First Company, First Battalion 155 Depot Brigade. He was a member of DAV, Chapter 26, Jeannette. Friends will be received at Miller-Whitlatch Funeral Home, Jeannette, 2-5, 7-10. Services will be held at 2 Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Frank James, pastor of First Methodist Church, Jeannette, officiating. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
