David W. Brooks, 56, passed away unexpectedly on February 18th, 2022 at his Monroe, NC home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. Brooks will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery following the funeral service.
He is survived by his wife,
Penny Brooks;
Daughter, Leslie Brooks
Son, Jesse Brooks;
Grandson Aiden Carr;
Older brothers:
Mark Brooks
Nolan Brooks
Steve Brooks;
and several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in passing by his father, Emmett Brooks and mother, Grace Asbury.
David never met a stranger and never turned down an opportunity to offer a helping hand. He loved his family deeply and was always willing to work hard to make sure they were taken care of. He loved fishing, Nascar racing, survival shows, and spending time at home and with his pets.
