Thora came to the United States alone when she was 13 years old. As a young girl and teenager, her life was filled with trials and sadness but she endured her trials and became a strong and valiant women. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and passed this faith onto her children and grandchildren. She loved her husband, William, and her children. Family was the most important aspect of her life. She was a wonderful wife and mother and an example to all who met her.
