William Christian "Chippy" Morrison, 81, a native of New Roads, LA and resident of Weatherford, TX, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born on March 9, 1940. After graduating from St. Joseph's Academy he attended LSU and graduated in 1962. He was then commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force where he would spend 26 years in service with assignments all over the country and world. He served two tours in the war in Vietnam, lived in Korea, Germany twice and many different states. After retiring from the Air Force he worked for several defense contractors until finally retiring from Lockheed in Fort Worth, TX. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judith Gremillion Morrison, also a native of New Roads, LA, three sons; William Christian "Chris" Morrison II of Dallas, TX, James Gremillion Morrison and wife Joan of Keller, TX, and Jacob DeGraffenried Morrison and wife Anne of Madison, WI; Grandchildren Kathleen, Amanda Grace, Amanda Louise, Georgie, Jamie, William and Jane; Great grandchildren Cavin, Brayden and Seve ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Landry and Veneta (deGraffenried) Morrison, brother John Morrison, Jr. and sister Herrise Morrison.

A service will be held on March 9, 2022 at 1pm in the St. Stephen Catholic Chapel, 211 S. Main St., Weatherford, TX. A second service will be held in New Roads, LA, with date and time announced later. He will be interred at St Francis of Pointe Coupee, New Roads, LA.
