David Allen Gibbs, 66, passed away on February 16, 2022, at his home in Lake, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 8:30 AM until 9:20 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS with Bro. Sam Taylor officiating. Burial will be held at Hazel Baptist Church under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

David was a lifelong resident of the Gibbstown Community in Newton, County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He was a member of the Gibbstown Volunteer Fire Department.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and "Miss Red" Gibbs; wife, Carolyn Gibbs. He is survived by three daughters, Carmen Robinson (Thomas) of Forrest, MS, Kristin Boykin (Sammy) of Lake, MS, Brandi McDill (Brad) of Conehatta, MS; one son, Justin Gibbs (Lacey) of Lake, MS; one brother, Mike Gibbs of Gibbstown, MS; ten grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Casey Robinson, Cody Robinson, Chase Robinson, Braxton McDill, Jake Gibbs, and Todd Jordan. Honoray Pallbearers will be Jody Jordan, Jamie Jordan, Levi Boykin, Drew Gibbs, Gage Gibbs, and Jason Phillipson.
