Barbara was a lifetime and faithful member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church. She loved her church family. She was retired from the former DuPont Company. Barbara cherished her beloved bichon Bryce and is survived by her poodle Lily. She never met a stranger or their dog! Barbara was a thoughtful card sender and treasured friend.
Survivors include her two brothers and sisters-in-law: Calvin L. Clements (Carolyn) of Waynesboro and Ronald E. Clements (Sylvia) of Peachtree City, GA; niece and nephews, Conway Clements, Curt Clements, Chuck & Amanda Clements, Andy & Stephanie Clements and Beth & Ryan Durham; a number of great nieces and nephews; her adopted family Rob & Sharlene Wade and sons, Bryan & Tyler; and a multitude of good friends.
Sincere gratitude is extended to Dr. Thomas Jayne, Dr. Michael Valente, the entire staff at The Retreat of Fishersville, and also to Hospice of the Shenandoah for their compassionate care.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Hermitage Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 46 Hildebrand Church Road, Waynesboro with Reverend Daniel Wine officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the Cemetery.
