Patricia Joy Scott, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2022, after a very long battle with leukemia. She was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1944, to Gilbert Foster Wheeler and Leona Fern (Luark) Wheeler. She moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1981, then to Flagstaff in 1983, finally settling in Mesa in 1999. She loved her spending time with her family and friends, her job working as an activity director for Monte Vista RV Resort in Mesa and she loved the residents. Pat loved going to Barleens Dinner Show in Apache Junction every chance she got. She also loved going to watch the Diamondbacks, the Suns, the Coyotes and the Cardinals, especially with her grandsons. She loved crocheting and would crochet an afghan for everyone she knew. She was loved by everyone that knew her and will be greatly missed by all.

Patricia was preceed in death by her son, Richard A tone Heier, Jr., her parents, 3 brothers, Jack Wheeler, Ronald Wheeler and Bruce Wheeler and 2 sisters Wanda Wheeler and Loretta Bradburn. She is survived by her brother, Jeff Wheeler, sister-in-law Maggie Wheeler, daughter, Tammy (Patrick) Termain, son, Randy Heier, long time friend, Robert Scott, 4 grandsons, Richard (Melanie) Sterkenburg, Steven Sterkenburg, Patrick (Cotey) Termain & Adam (Veronica) Termain, 7 great grandchildren and her furbabies Molly and Hank. Private family services will be held at a later date.
