Judy Anne Young was born on February 26, 1950, to Hezekiah and Pauline Smith. She was the firstborn daughter of eight children and known for her gentle and kind spirit. Judy accepted Christ and solidified her salvation at an early age and exemplified Christ daily;
the evidence of her relationship with Christ was modeled daily with friends, family, and
her church worship; she simply loved to honor God and praise Him through dance.

Judy attended Williamson Elementary in Mobile, Alabama, and Douglas High School in Oklahoma City, OK. After graduation, she continued her education at Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma, pursuing an Elementary Education degree.
On November 8, 1971 in Tahlequah, OK
Judy married Terry C. Young Sr; from
this union two children were born, Trevesia L. Young and Terry C. Young Jr. Judy is the grandmother of four grandsons, RaShad Johnson, Tevin Jackson, Justin Young, and Antonio Young; also one great-granddaughter Justyce Young.

In 1972, she worked for TG&Y Corporation until 1982. Then went on to work for Delong's Mailing Center for 17 years, Classen Tag Agency for 13 years, Oklahoma Insurance Department for 8 years, and upon her
retirement from Wilson Elementary school where she served for 5 years. Judy served in the church ministry at Gethsemane Memorial Church of God in Christ (COGIC), under the late Superintendent Elder Otis Thompson in various roles from the Sunday School Department to the music ministry, and she had to do it all then because her mother served as the church mother. Later she advanced her servanthood as an usher, choir member, president of the singles ministry and women's ministry member at Community Lighthouse Pentecostal Ministries under the late Bishop George W. Woodard Jr. She loved to sing in church with her loving family,
dance, and play the tambourine.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Hezekiah and Pauline Smith, also her youngest sister Rita Smith-Brooks. She leaves to cherish her memory a special adopted mother, Lonzetta Nolen, a faithful daughter, Trevesia Young, loving son, Terry Young; her dedicated and unselfish special grandson, RaShad Johnson; four grandchildren, one great granddaughter; one sister Paulette Greenidge-Legg; five brothers, JD Smith (deceased), Hiram Smith (Pamela), Melvin Smith, Emmanuel Smith, Joseph Smith (Coilette) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
