Carolyn B. "Meme" Lewis, 83, of Chesterfield, formerly of North Carolina, was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on February 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Maggie Bass; husband, Russell Lewis; sisters, Marie King and Geraldine Watson; and brothers, Robert "Buddy" Bass and Ronald Bass. She is survived by her children, Eddie Lewis, Michele Clodfelter (Todd) and Tony Lewis (Raven); grandchildren, Shannon, Kim, Charity, Camden, Mikayla and Sage; great-grandchildren, Joscelyn, Savannah, Olivia, Darryl and Halleigh; sisters, Dottie Bullock (Maurice) and June King (Leslie) both of Lake View, SC, Bonita Rogers (Roy) of Fairmont, NC; brothers, Bill Bass of Lumberton, NC and Dennis Morgan (Gladys) of Little River , SC; sister-in-law, Betty Bass of Fairmont, NC, and her beloved dog, Bronson. Mrs. Lewis loved being a door greeter at Walmart for 20-plus years. A memorial ceremony is being planned and will be announced.
