Ronald passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at home.
Ronald Lee Parker was born on February 2, 1956, in Harris, TX, to parents John Lacey Parker and Hazel Edna Pack. He was raised in Harris and later graduated high school in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. Ronald married Herminia Longchaya on March 3, 1979, in Hawaii where they made their home for seven years. He and Herminia then lived in Bremerton, WA, Dallas, TX, and eventually moved to Wolfe City, TX, in 2017. Ronald served his country in the United States Navy for twenty years and later as a Merchant Marine for another ten years. Ronald and Herminia were in the planning stages of moving to the Philippines permanently where they own a home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Parker and Hazel Page; daughter, Hazel Parker; sisters, JoAnn Seay and Joyce Yates; brother, Dennis Parker.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Herminia Parker of Wolfe City, TX; stepson, Brian Longchaya of Omaha, NE; brothers, Mike Parker and wife, Sheila of Lufkin, TX, and Jerry Parker of Lukin, TX; along with six grandchildren.
