Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Carmen Martin, 84.
Born in Cabañes Spain she was the daughter of Mariano Blesa Rojas and Asuncion Sedano Lopez. Carmen loved being a housewife and especially being a mom. She was very proud to be an Air Force wife. In the early 1980s Carmen came to know the Lord and was saved. She would want everyone to know that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man comes to the Father but through Him John 14:6. Carmen was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and served the Lord and attended there for many years and later she was a member of Cathedral of Christ in Macon Georgia. She loved her children, grand and great grandchildren and her friends and church family. She was a very joyful, happy person. she loved cooking, knitting, crocheting, playing cards and keeping a beautiful home as well as many other things. All who knew her can appreciate her sweet spirit and happy heart. You can hear her say "Don't worry, be happy." Her passing has made heaven a much sweeter place where we will see her beautiful smile again!
She is preceded in death by her son Jimmy and her husband Walter Martin. She leaves two surviving children: Pete Martin and Teresa Davis (Gary); grandchildren: Jeffery Martin (Jennifer), Kristina Martina, Faith Sandoval (Daniel), Kayla Williams (Rodney), Kirk Martin (Amy), Nikki Price (Ryan), Lance Cummings and Anna Catherine Davis; great grandchildren: Joseph Brooks, Raleigh Martin, Austin Martin, Sierra Price, Peyton Martin, Rodney Williams, Selah Sandoval, Josiah Sandoval and Ruby Williams.
