Born, January 22, 1941, in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph and Louise (Matthew) Baugh.
Mike graduated from Purdue University in 1962 with an engineering degree. He worked for Texas Instruments as an Electrical Engineer before becoming self-employed.
Mike was an avid HAM Radio Operator with the call sign W8AKF.
Survivors include his wife: Tracy Baugh of Thousand Oaks, CA, one daughter: Laura Lin of Palm Springs, CA, one son: John Baugh and his wife Tracy of Stafford, VA, four grandchildren: Jonathan, Mikayla, Ava, and Eliana Baugh, one step-daughter: Michelle McLuskie and her husband Steward of Coeur D. Alene, ID, their four children: Excelle, Tierrah, Kendelin, and Ayson, and his step-mother: Bonnie Butler and her husband Harold of Madison, KY.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph Baugh, and Louise Matthew-Cooper, and a son: Scott Michael Baugh.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Ray New officiating.
Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
