Leslie A. Parsons, 69, of Chester, passed, Sunday, February 20, 2022, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born, June 10, 1952, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Earl G. and Carol E. Caldwell Parsons. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion JR Buben.

Leslie was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1970; she received her BA degree in Geology from West Virginia University Class of 1974.

Leslie formerly worked for Marsh Bellofram in Newell and most recently worked for Tube-Tech in East Palestine, as a Quality Control Assistant Manager.

Leslie was an animal lover leaving behind her 4 beloved cats. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing games, browsing Facebook including being active on local history Facebook pages, and keeping in touch with longtime friends.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings, William T. Parsons and his wife, Kay of Salem, OR., Robert Parsons of Mt. Crawford, VA., Bruce Parsons of Chester, and Melanie Parsons and her husband, Don Hart of Duncan, SC., nieces Kelley and Katie; nephews, Keith, Craig, and Kyle. Leslie will also be missed by her dear friends, John, and Lisa Smith.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 2:00 PM. Friends may visit with Leslie's family for memorial visitation 2 hours prior to the service from noon-2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Rd, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
