He united in matrimony with Ruby Holley and this union brought forth three children, Martin, Jasmin, and Amos Jermaine.
Amos returned to Pensacola Florida in 1975 and secured gainful employment at St. Regis, Champion- International Paper in various capacities. He retired after 25 dedicated years of service. Amos reunited with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained a Deacon in October 2000. Amos sang in the Men's chorus and the Gospel chorus, serving as the President of the Gospel chorus for a several years. He was faithful to his ministry.
Amos and Ruby relocated from Pensacola to the Metropolitan Atlanta area in 2013. He joined Antioch Baptist Church North under the leadership of Reverend Doctor Cameron Alexander where he served until 2017. He united with the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Reverend James S. Hill. He was a faithful member who loved praising the Lord.
Amos enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and grilling. He was affectionately known as "Grill-Master Dino." Amos loved the combination of faith, family, food, and fellowship.
