A funeral service for close family only will be held on Friday, February 25th at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Spirit Lake, IA. A memorial service for friends will be announced at a later date.
Christopher was educated at Johnson Elementary School in Spencer, IA, Spencer Junior High School, and Spencer High School, graduating in 1981. He graduated from The University of Iowa in 1985, with a BA degree in Financial Management. He obtained a CPA license in Phoenix, AZ, and a MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2000.
He worked as a financial controller for The American Red Cross for many years in Washington DC, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. His last employer was Cobham International in Davenport, IA.
He married Lisa Laree Raymond of Chatsworth, CA at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale CA on October 22, 2005.
He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Spirit Lake. He enjoyed, fishing, singing, gardening, cooking, traveling and sports (especially football!) and being with his family and beloved dog, Madjik.
He is predeceased by his father, Geoffrey Rupert Anson in June 1997; his brother Edward Peter in October 1982.
