November 27, 1955- February 10, 2022

Michael Eugene Donaldson, 66, of Tracy's Landing passed away February 10, 2022 at his home.

He was born on November 27, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Madeline Virginia Merriman and Kenneth Erb Donaldson, Sr.

Michael was raised in the District of Columbia, where he attended school.

He married Donna J. Donaldson on August 23, 1975.

Michael was a mechanic by trade, and had a love for anything involving a motor, from the trucks he serviced at his work to the NASCAR races he enjoyed at home. He devoted his free time to helping others, whether he knew them or not, and could often be found volunteering at the Fraternal Order of Police #89, or cutting grass for his neighbors. He had a heart of solid gold and loved spending time with family and friends above all else.

Michael is survived by his wife Donna; son Michael Donaldson and his wife, Kristina; daughter Margaret Donaldson; grandchildren Michael, Tyler, Aidan, and Jacqueline; brother Bill Donaldson; sisters Cheryl Gittins and Lisa Donaldson; and sister-in-law Carol Atkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Donaldson, Jr., and parents-in-law Susie and Hank Tyler.
