raveside services for Lois L. Davis will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Davis went to be with Jesus Nov. 29, 1998, from her daughter's home in Dallas. She suffered a stroke Sept. 1 at her home in Ardmore.

Born Feb. 23, 1924, at Gainesville, Texas, to Jack and Mary Newsom Riley, she had been a resident of Ardmore since age 9. She worked locally as a waitress until retiring in 1982 after the first of four strokes.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. Davis, a local bondsman and builder, Jan. 29, 1983; seven brothers, including Herman, Winford, Tommy, Jack and Bill Riley; and sister, Juanita Mitchell, all from the Ardmore area.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paulette Hubach-Pearce and Bill Pearce, Dallas; grandson and wife, John and Debby Bartels, Ardmore; granddaughter and husband, Mundee and David Robertson, Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Riley Bartels, Depreena and Dalan Robertson; and 20 nieces and nephews.

Honorary bearers are Wayne Bartels, Lorenzo Collins, Eddie Dill, Earl Harper, Bob Parsons, Phil Ross and Earl Wallace.

Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Tuesday evening
