Richard "Rick" Morgan, 72, passed away on February 8, 2022. He was born in Pensacola, Florida, to the late Woodrow and Nell Morgan. Rick, the youngest of six children, grew up in Pensacola and joined the US Marine Corps in 1967 during the Vietnam War. He spent six years proudly serving his country. Afterwards, he returned to Pensacola to reside near his family.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Nelda Faye Greene, Dwayne Morgan, Roger Morgan, and Michael Morgan. He is survived by his brother Norm Morgan (Susan) of Pensacola and his numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Rick loved his family and his girlfriend, Nicki. He also had a soft spot in his heart for animals. Furthermore, Rick enjoyed people and was known for his friendliness and kindness.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff members at Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans' Nursing Home in Panama City, Florida where Rick resided for the past four years. They provided him with the professional and loving care that he so deserved.

A graveside service will be held for his family members on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Bayview Memorial Park.
